Triple
Threat was created in 1998 by Damon L. Scott, aka Damo, of the Junkyard
Band. Damo was fatally wounded in a motorcycle accident in 2000.
R.I.P Triple Threat, formally known as Premiere Band, performed at
various venues for up and coming go-go bands, as well as with "big
bands".
Triple Threat experienced some of the aspects
of any go-go band and bidded farewell to a couple of its band members.
The band continued on the go-go circuit until its founder, Damo, was taken
away from them.
Today, Anthony, aka Dogg, has brought back
the members of the original Premiere band in the memory of Damo to continue
his work and dream of having one of the tightest go-go bands to come on the
go-go circuit.
The band's name is derived from one of Triple
Threat's grooves that Damo truly loved.
